Breakfast & Lunch: Sage Mule

Over the last decade, a lot of fabulous breakfast and lunch locations have opened in Greensboro. We love supporting local businesses and are breakfast lovers. Recently, we were at the Sage Mule. It is so fun to walk in the neighborhood behind it after eating. Green Hill Cemetery is a place with so much history and is a very peaceful and reflective way to work off a hearty breakfast. Indeed, there are very good and filling breakfast options at Sage Mule. Steve and Jan Gingher opened it at 608 Battleground Avenue in November 2019, making it six years old.

On the day we were there, it was too cold to eat outside; however, we spent a little time on the covered patio admiring this creative mural as a backdrop for the black, metal seating. We’re guessing the “19” stands for the year it was established and the lettering and colors captured our attention. There is plenty to look at on the inside. We do miss the “mule-themed” upholstery on the chair in the bathroom on the left. It is so fun to explore Greensboro and notice all of the little details.

Happy Wednesday!
