Irving Park United Methodist Church

Irving Park United Methodist Church, located on Cone Boulevard, is one busy church. Literally, there is at least one thing held at the church every single day of the month (see calendar HERE). Currently, they are selling pumpkins on the Lafayette Avenue side of the church. On November 1st, the Boy Scouts will have their annual BBQ chicken sale.

According to their website, the church was founded in 1962 on 3-acres. The church has gone through periods of growth, mergers, and through all of it has remained strong. This view from the median between eastbound and westbound Cone Boulevard provides a view of the size of the church. As you can see, the pumpkin sales are on the left (the west) size of the property. While it looks quiet in this photo, today, it is filled with worshipers.

Happy Sunday.
