Wrangler, So Pretty in Pink

Wrangler has done so much for Breast Cancer and Brest Cancer Awareness, including the “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” initiative. While downtown yesterday, we happened upon the above display at Wrangler/Kontoor Headquarters on North Elm Street. In addition to a giant breast cancer awareness ribbon, they had pumpkins decorated in pink. We suspect we were on the tail end of an installation that has been on display since October. It was so inspiring to see it from the road. Now, we want to go to the top of the Bellemeade Parking Deck and catch the view from there.

We hope you had time to visit downtown during First Friday Last night. If not yesterday, you can always visit today. The weather should be a little warmer today and stores and galleries are festive; many have already started stocking holiday merchandise. As for us, like that last leaf on a tree, we’re going to try to hold on to November as long as possible.

If you know someone affected by breast cancer, please drive them to see this exhibit. This display is really powerful in person and even more special with friends, especially ones who know the hope and love behind this symbol.
